Privacy policy
This policy explains how Norglass Laboratories Pty Ltd (‘Norglass’, ‘we’) collects, uses and protects information when you visit norglass.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
We don’t sell products online, run a newsletter or ask you to create an account. The only personal information we collect directly is what you choose to send us through the contact form.
Contact form enquiries
When you send an enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it), the type of enquiry and your message. We use this only to respond to you and to keep a record of the enquiry.
The form is delivered to our inbox by a third-party service, Web3Forms. We don’t add you to any mailing list, and we don’t share your details with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as:
- the pages you view and how long you spend on them
- the website that referred you to us
- your approximate location (country and city level only)
- your device, browser, operating system and screen size
- the searches you make on this site
- files you download (such as safety data sheets) and videos you play
Google Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We can’t use this information to identify you, and we don’t try to combine it with anything that could. We don’t use it for advertising.
Your choices
You can control cookies in several ways:
- install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
- block or delete cookies in your browser settings
The site works normally with cookies blocked.
Videos
Some guides include YouTube videos. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you press play. When you do, the video is served from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain, and YouTube’s own privacy policy applies.
Where information is stored
Google and Web3Forms may store and process information outside Australia, including in the United States.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask for access to, or correction of, any personal information we hold about you, or ask us to delete an enquiry you’ve sent. If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your information, contact us first and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
