Calculate how much resin you’ll need for your pour

The formulation is length × average width × depth of the river pour.

The formulation must take place in millimetres.

For example, 1200mm (length) × 271mm (width) × 50mm (depth) = 16260000.

This number is then divided by 1 million.

For example, 16260000 ÷ 1000000 = 16.260 litres needed.

The example is shown in our online calculator. Adjust the settings for your project.

Resin (base)
10.84 L
Hardener

Suggested packs
  • 3 × 6 L

18 L in total

50mm is within this product's maximum single pour of 50mm.

An estimate, not a specification – figures are rounded up, and pack sizes are treated as the total kit (base and hardener together).Always follow the product data sheet.

Before you pour
  • Work between 15°C and 25°C – below 20°C for large pours such as dining tables. Epoxy won’t cure below 10°C.
  • Mixed resin left in the container heats up and cures faster than the same amount spread in the mould.
  • Large volumes are best left to experienced hands. If you’re new to resin, pour in several layers.
